Warsaw’s evolving skyline is primed to see more changes with one skyscraper slated for demolition, and a taller replacement planned in the pipeline. Completed in 1997, the Ilmet Tower on Rondo ONZ is soon to be no more. In its place will rise the 188-meter Warsaw One project designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects. While no date has yet been finalized, the Ilmet has already been emptied of tenants and it’s fate apparently sealed.
